What to Expect
No partner? No problem! You don't need one to join our classes; we rotate partners to ensure you get comfortable dancing with various individuals and learn from different styles. Expect an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere where you can grow at your own pace.
Our Beginners Classes
At United Latin Dance, we understand that everyone starts somewhere. Our beginner salsa classes are tailored explicitly for those with zero to minimal dance experience. You'll learn the fundamental steps, body movements, and basic techniques from our experienced instructors in a supportive and welcoming environment.

You don’t need to have a partner for any of our classes, however if you have someone in mind that you’d like to come with, encourage them to sign up!

- Drink bottle
- Dance shoes/heels (recommended but not essential). If you don’t have dance shoes, you can alternatively wear runners or socks
- An open mind and good energy! Learning new things can be intimidating, however, these classes are your safe space to experiment with your dancing without judgment

We believe there’s no such thing as practicing too many fundamentals!
But of course, please send us a message letting us know about your prior dance experience, and we’ll help direct you to our classes best suited for your level!
